Joe has gained an extensive background throughout his 45-year career coordinating critical infrastructure security, counterterrorism, and counter-narcotics programs in South America and the Middle East. He manages corporate business plans, strategies and expansions worldwide after serving several years as TAM-C’s Chief Operating Officer.
Having joined the US Army in 1979, Joe served in the military for 23 years, first as an intelligence analyst and later as an elite Green Beret. He was involved in the insurgencies in El Salvador, Peru, Panama, and Nicaragua and in counter-nar- cotics missions throughout South America. He was also the first enlisted member to receive the Secretary of Defense Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict Award.
Before joining TAM-C, Joe worked as a tactics and firearms instructor for the US State Department, Program Manager for the security of five National Critical Infrastructure facilities, Commander of the Amtrak’s nationwide Counterterrorism Unit, Director of Training at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center in Jordan, and Special Operations Branch Chief for the Irregular Warfare section at JIDO/JIDA/DTRA.
