Charles “Sonny” Hudson retired as a Senior Intelligence Operations Officer (SIS) with over 31 years of government service, particularly in foreign fields, in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations (DO), now known as the National Clandestine Service (NCS). Through his career and years of service, Charles gained experience and expertise in a range of inter- national environments and in all aspects of the Intelligence Collection Cycle. He worked in a variety of positions, including team operator, instructor, and manager, ultimately serving as a Senior Executive leader in the CIA. Charles served multiple tours of duty, primarily throughout Latin America, Europe and the Middle East. After retirement, Charles joined the security team at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (APC), involved in international exploration and production activity spanning the Far East, Africa, and Latin America and domestically across North America and the Gulf of Mexico. He retired from Anadarko as Director of Corporate Security in late 2019.
