Eyal Ben-Zion is a seasoned data science leader and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at TAM-C. With a career spanning high-level academic research and industry leadership, he specializes in building data teams and driving products from MVP to full-scale production.
Eyal holds a Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he also completed a Post-Doctorate. His technical expertise is backed by several U.S. patents in predictive machine learning, time-series modeling, and pipeline optimization
Before joining TAM-C, Eyal held several key leadership roles:
- Team Leader Algorithms at Taboola: Led researchers in developing recommender systems to enhance user engagement and revenue for global media companies
- VP of Research at CerebriAI: Directed the development of core machine learning frameworks and technical products
- AI Consultant for the Israel Tax Authority: Designed and implemented end-to-end AI pipelines for integration into production systems.
- Head of Data Science at Insait.io: Contributed to the development of a no-code auto-ML system for the finance sector
In addition to his corporate leadership, Eyal is a dedicated educator who has served as a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University and the Shamoon College of Engineering, where he taught data science and machine learning to the next generation of engineers.
